Bradley Chase, PhD, MPH, CPE

Dr. Bradley Chase is the lead consultant and actively involved in all consulting activities.  Dr. Chase has over 25 years of experience in Lean Six Sigma and Industrial Ergonomics Consulting.  Dr. Chase is a Professor in Industrial & Systems Engineering at the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering at the University of San Diego (USD), Instructor in the Lean Six Sigma and Supply Chain Programs and Director of the USD Ergonomics Lab.

​Bradley Chase - brief professional bio

Dr. Chase conducts consulting and training in Lean Six Sigma and Industrial Ergonomics and directs the Ergonomics Laboratory at USD.  He is an active consultant in the area of Performance Improvement and has consulted on projects with General Atomics, ViaSat, Active Input Solutions, SAIC, Scrippshealth, Sharp, and Consolo Systems - a local software startup, and other companies in San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties. His research has been supported by the Army Research Institute, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), U.S. Navy, and the American Society for Engineering Education. Dr. Chase engages in both applied and basic research according to the need of his clients.

Dr. Chase is a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) and holds degrees in engineering, public health, and psychology.  Dr. Chase has experience in EEG, eye tracking, biomechanical modeling, product design and evaluation, ergonomic program design, lean operations, supply chain management, and six sigma initiatives.  Dr. Chase is a tenured Associate Professor in the Shiley Marcos School of Engineering at the University of San Diego and teaches courses on Work Analysis and Design, Human Factors Engineering, Engineering Design, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Engineering Economics, Probability and Statistics, Systems Engineering, Simulation, and Lean and Six Sigma.
